A simple perl/html combo to generate a screen with 16 button/lights, and then produce 2 byte serial port commands based on user clicks.
Also has a dialog box for getting a device address (00-7f hex)
There are two types of commands, one just produces a two byte (8 bit plus even parity 4800 baud), the other expects a two byte response, and wil "light" the lights based on data values in that resoponse.
Not locked to a perticular linux distribution yet.
It is a very simple task, so it should not take more than 2 days. I could tell something more if You give exact specification of Your needs. Also You may ask for something more as it will be
included in price( I may provide nice user interface/web graphics for free), maybe user verification to prevent other to use Your device.
Please note this bid is only an expression of our interest in your project. We may come back to you for more information, through personal message. We will place a more realistic bid and time of completion within 2-3 days
I have a great experience on control system R&D under Linux enviroment (see my profile). This work looks like standard browser-based interface for simple PC-connected hardware. I can do it with good quality in case you'll choose me for this project.
This looks interesting. Since you request HTML, I gather that the intent is to set up a web-based interface to control a device connected to the serial port of the server?
I can do it in two days (probably much less) from the acceptance of the bid.
