Bugzilla customization

After installing Bugzilla, there is still some customization to do - see the following list: At first, an update to the latest version has to be made. Bug 4 Summary: How can I select fields to display when creating new bug The existing fields "Difficulty" and Time tracking I'd like to see/enter values directly when adding a new bug. Additionally I'd like to know how I can make my custom field mandatory. Bug 5 Summary: Finalizing "Unchanged" report I started a report called "Unchanged". With that I want to see bugs, that are not worked on for more than 1 minute (later I'll change to 7 days or so). But I don't want to see bugs, that have deadline in more than 2 weeks in the future (+14d). If I have no deadline, the bug should be displayed (as if deadline is soon, only when other restrictions like above are valid) Bug 6 Summary: Inform me how to get rid of platform / OS fields I don't think I need these fields. How can I get rid of them? Bug 7 Summary: Time tracking: How to setup employees hours per week... I need to know how to setup employees hours per week or day, holidays, and his responsibilities / abilities. Then I'd like to check / query, for which bugs deadlines are in danger. Then I need something like a time report for every developer. How do I do that? The report functionality can only report hours "per bug" or "per developer". It asks me to "Edit search": okay, I do so. But when I am finished with editing, there is only a "Search" button. Where is the "Update Search "Unchanged""? Bug 9 Summary: requirelogin=On, But I'd like to see another start file Is it possible to have another [login to view URL], where I can say "Welcome" and a login link? After that I update that html file on my own. Bug 10 Summary: E-Mail sending is not working If I click on "forgot password" link, I don't get an email, regardless if I setup mail to belivered with "Sendmail" or "SMTP". My inbox stays empty. Bug 11 Summary: How can I get rid of "New Account" in mainpage When nobody is logged in, bugzilla shows a "New account" link. Here someone can register with his username. In which setting can I deactive this feature? Bug 12 Summary: How to create "public" searches? Some searches may bo so good, that I'd like them to be available for more developers or even all of them. Please explain me, how can I transfer a finished named search to someone or to "public" Bug 13 Summary: New bug without attachment, if description is missing Better message, that prevents creating a bug withou attachment When creating a new bug and directly creating a new attachment, but you forget to insert a description, you get an error message (see attachment). Now you have to add attachment seperately. Please show me how to change, so that a) no description is necessary, or b) bugzilla stops creating a bug and creates a message, until description is made (like bugzilla does it, if you add an attachment seperately, see 2nd attachment) ESH GmbH in Cologne, Germany
