I run [login to view URL] - a leading quotations resource on the web. I have a quotes of the day service on [login to view URL], also on twitter, as well as a general one via a few RSS feeds. More on that is here:
My idea is to use the same RSS feed which sends quotes of the day to twitter - to power an Android app, which at the very least, lets people see quotes of the day on their phone.
## Deliverables
The following is what I need:
- I want an Android app which uses an RSS feed as its content source.
- I only want an Android app, and would like it available in the Android store with Google. Ideally, this would be worldwide. Recommendations for other Android stores outside Google should be made.
- I also want the same app (depending on what changes are required) in the new Verizon app store for Android apps. I have applied with our concept on the Verizon site: [login to view URL] - I'd like to charge $1 for each download, and no ads for now, until we have very significant views being generated.
- I'd like to host the app on my very capable host.
- You would need to submit and deploy to all the relevant app stores for approval. The final deliverable is an app that is downloadable and fully working to the entire app customer base.
- Some marketing and promotion tips/work would be good to maximise downloads.
In your bid, you MUST include the following:
- what features your app will have besides simply producing quotes of the day content from the RSS feed. Is there any platform you have which lets users of the app share content for example? If there's additional features, we can agree on these before you start development.
- what Android apps you've built in the past
- what questions you have about this project
- can you optimise/market the app have maximum revenue through downloads?
- what your time estimate to complete is (for total project cost)
