I have had experience with Arduino since my 2nd year in college. I am now a 4th year BS Computer Science student but mainly I play around with my Raspberry Pi 3 as it is much easier to program with using Python. My first project for the Arduino was to make the Arduino have a 'light show' using a 5x5 LED grid and a piezo speaker. My first project for the Raspberry Pi 3 was to make a garbage truck logging system using TelosB components and the Raspberry Pi, complete with a cloud web server, web app, and mobile app.
