Perform scripted backup of Windows server virtual machines running on Citrix XenServer 5.6 hypervisor: 1- Create a snapshot of a VM 2- Export the Snapshot as a file (.xva) on a different storage system. 3- Delete the snapshot that was just created. Those are the steps that would be performed if completed manually in XenCenter. We want to have functional backup copies of our VMs on a scheduled basis without having to take the VMs out of production to complete. The VMs that we are trying to backup are physically located on a NetApp device that doesn't have a lot of extra space.
