We're trying to build a small, headless torrent client on top of libtorrent
You will build a small windows C# application that invokes the C++ libtorrent library ([login to view URL]) to carry out torrent activities in response to instructions that are retrieved via REST from a headquarters server.
We presume that libtorrent would be compiled as a C++ DLL. The communication between the application and libtorrent could be via normal dll references, via PInvoke, or possibly via RESTful calls.
The UI of the application, which should be part of the C# application, should allow the setting of a URL for the connection to headquarters, and have a Pause/Play button that activates the functionality.
The application would periodically connect and make a restful call to the provided URL, retrieving a binary .torrent file. It would then use libtorrent to try and download the torrent, and would make any torrents it downloaded available as seeds. libtorrent functions would be exported into C# so that the majority of future coding could be done in C#.
Please only bid on this project if you have substantial experience compiling C++ code.
Hello,
I'd like to work on your project and help you accomplish what you need, using my substantial experience with C++, C# and libtorrent.
Having worked on a similar project involving libtorrent previously, Do feel free to check my work history.
Once bid is accepted, I will dedicate my full time to finish the project asap or by the end of the deadline.
Kind Regards.
Hi, I am professional developer, completed many projects. I can do this task easily. I want to discuss this project in detail. Hope to hear from you. Regards Khizar.
Hello,
I am a senior C++/C# programmer with good experience working with networking protocols including bittorrent protocol and I am interested in taking the job and making your library.
I work with milestones.
Thank you
