The goal of the project is aimed at batch rendering charts in svg format containing variable data. These exported files will later be merged into existing documents, produced at runtime by other Doxee technology, in order to create the final documents ready to be shipped. Requirements: Our goal regarding performance is to achieve the speed of 300 Unique Rendered Charts per second per core, single server (1.080.000 Charts per hour), no matter the size of the Chart or its complexity. Uniqueness in matter of type of chart and variable data. We need to batch produce different chart images with variable data. Our Production model and our technology is Java-based It’s possible to call the module via command-line We would like to have a batch rendering model Java-based in order to simplify the integration with our existing software. Thus a native model that runs on Windows, Linux and Mac will also be fine. The command-line tool shall be called in order to produce multiple charts with one execution. Charts names’ must be defined upstream, in a way that the Java Wrapper will include them as resources. Specific technologies required: J2EE, JAVA, SVG Notes: Doxee S.p.A. is placed among the Visionares in the Magic Quadrant for Customer Communications Management Software. Doxee S.p.A. provides services of many kinds to TELCO, Utilities and Banks companies.

Hello, I am very interested in this project. Could you please answer a couple of questions. - What's the data source for the charts? A database? If it's a complex SQL data source running that many queries in real time might be a problem, they need to be cached somewhere. - What should be the output format and where it should be saved? Most likely a pure Java solution will not provide the desired performance so I will build native modules in C/C++ for all the platforms you need with Java wrappers for them (if needed for your integration).
