Canning a barcode

Hi I could solve your problem by using time difference between keystrokes. I guess you have an USB type scanner, which directly send scanned characters to connected PC. If so, checking the key strokes time delay and setting the appropriate limit would solve it. If time delay between two character input is less than 5ms it would be the scanner typing, else it should be user typing. Basic but effective solution which I had applied on previously works I have done. Thanks

Hello, Thank you for inviting me to your project! :) Though, I don't think that there's a straightforward way to implement that except for analyzing the character rate, maybe.. it sounds more like a trick, though, but I think it will mostly work ) I can also think of intercepting input on the device level but it's a tricky low level type of thing to do that would take quite a bit of effort to implement, so it's not included in my bid.
