The proposed project is a software that will read the information from a Poker Client Software and automatically find and execute a correct decision based on the state of the game. The software must work with (at least) one of the following Poker Client Softwares: - PokerStars - FullTilePoker The automatic poker player must meet the following functional requirements: - Offer a simple GUI to launch and connect to the client - Automatically read the table state, record player actions and statistics - Find the appropriate action to perform when it is it's time to act - Perform the action The automatic poker player must meet the following non-functional requirements: - Have an expected value of at least 1 big blind / table / hour - Be easy enough to use and maintain for a non-tech-savvy user - Not use a screen-scrapping method of extracting information - Be detection-aware

A few things about myself, I am very good at poker. I supported myself for 1 year with nothing but online poker earnings in Manhattan. I've done this before (years ago on Bodog). It is difficult, and someone who isn't familiar with this task will find themselves stuck in many pitfalls. I run a small team of programmers, each of whom has a masters degree in computer science. I recently received my masters degree in computational neuroscience. I was in a PhD program, but left research to pursue my company. You won't be able to use a non-screen scrapping method, everything on the back-end is heavily encrypted. What stakes do you require this program to be profitable at? Cash games or SNGs? This program can't be built by anyone who doesn't have extensive experience with poker AND complex statistical models. If you are serious about this project, I am interested. Best, Joseph

Extensive experience with statistical models, traditional and machine learning based and programming. Building the prediction model will require a fair amount of data and several AI and statistical approaches which can be done in R on gigabytes of data and in parallel, other than that it's a no brainer.
