I am writing a website that manages a list of companys which can be based globally but mainly UK. I want a ASPX page (vb) written that incorporates a map and then puts markers on it pinpointing different addresses which are populated from a SQL Server database. You can either build a process which adds coordinates to the database records or coordinates can be calculated on the fly. There mat be 50-100 companys so the later may not be a goer. The markers on the map should be able to be colour coded red, yellow or green depending on a value in the table and the tool tip should show the company name. I would like the different views, UK, Europe and worldwide. I had a page written with this functionality already but now I want to make it private (and chargable) I cant use the google free license I used up till now (private licence $10000) so I need some suggestions on how to get round this as a reasonable cost. Hi, Can you please send detailed requirement document using project clarification board. I understood what you need but still I'm little bit confused regarding the requirement. As you have written that it will be globally but mainly for UK. So, which kind of functionality exactly you need and which kind of map you want either it is 2D or 3D just like Google Map.
