I'm looking for a programmer to hire on an ad-hoc basis to develop a specific type of program for us. attached are the program details to start off with. more detail will be shared with the shortlisted/selected programmer. Please bear in mind that this could lead to more ad-hoc work for the right kind of vendor. hence, we're looking for someone who is reliable, professional and honest. individuals highly preferred. a regular mode of contact is a must- skype/gtalk preferred. The completed project will be my exclusive property and may not be shared for marketing or other purposes with anybody without my express permission. an NDA/non-compete agreement may be required. Generic bids to be deleted- in your bid, please write two paragraphs- para 1, what you understand of the project and what you propose to do. para 2- what are your general qualifications/experience and what is the nature of projects you usually handle. specific questions may be placed in PMB.

General Understanding The software is basically an HTML parser, which reads the entire source of the HTML page and extracts the required contents from the same and saves it on to an excel. There are two modes of operation for the software, one the auto parse mode and the other manual mode. 1) Auto parse mode This mode takes a set of URL's loaded previously as input and starts reading the html code of the URL and extracts appropriate information such as date, contact, location, last modified date and well as the previous contents before the last modification. All of the above informations are stored on an excel sheet. The excel sheet gets appended as the new information keeps coming. The software once enters this mode can be seen only as a background process. which can be also started as a windows service. 2) manual mode This mode is also knows as the normal mode which starts when the software is launched. This is more of an interactive one which needs an operator to load load the URLS as required. This can be also done by selecting URL from a set of URLS which is already in the DB. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT FOR MORE UNDERSTANDING

I mainly work with C# desktop based and ASP .Net projects. Now I am working with VS2008. I can create asp.net projects maintaining layers , table less css disign using master pages, using security features of dot net or custom using encrypted string. Databese is mainly sql server but can do with mysql or other rdbms but will take little more time. Linq with sql server. I have done 'Hotel Reservation system', 'Contact Handling(Desktop based), Social Networking(currently working on) and like these. I am a diploma in Advanced Software Technology and BCA.
