The site I want to build would allow users to register, input information and be able to change that information while adding information to their profile which can be looked at and searched by people interested in their services. It is basically a site where athletes create a profile and coaches can look for players which they are interested in. I can give you the address of a couple of similar sites if that would help explain what I am looking for.

Hello there, English webmaster here. I would build the site on a Content Management System (CMS) to make it easy for you to add and edit the pages. I have been using Joomla CMS for over 5 years and have built over 50 sites with it. I would build in a "social" app which will then allow users to sign up and make their profile - User profiles would be able to have as many custom fields as you need such as Name/Location/Age/About me/Position/Yards etc etc these fields can also be displayed as icons as well as plain text - for instance we could display the sex of a user as an icon on the register form, when you look at the users profile they have a icon for their sex. Users would be able to upload pictures/videos and show them on their profile or add them to the groups they belong to. The users of the site would then be able to search the directory and add other users to their friends list and create or join "groups". The system can have private messaging systems as well as public forums. There are many other features that can be added - please ask for more details. By using a CMS you do not have to have expensive software on your pc just a web browser to update your site. Training for using the CMS system would also be supplied as part of the bid - I usually do this over Skype with a screen-share or by dedicated conferencing. I have excellent communications skills and also speak in perfect English (because I am English) so there will be no lost in translation problems here. I have no problems being contacted on Skype or on the phone for discussions.
