The project is for a virtual business card service that uses text as a means of connecting with others and sharing profiles/contact information. For example, if you meet someone at a networking event and want to exchange information, instead of providing a business card, you would simply send a text that would send the person your information from the website's database. A site that is doing something similar is: [login to view URL] . When you sign up for the service, you provide basic information, name, company, mobile phone, username, password, and email. This creates a profile page for you and allows you to enter additional contact information, including twitter, linkedin, facebook, myspace, vimeo, and other social networking links. I think you should be able to see this if you go here: [login to view URL] . The site also will allow you to download a vcf, an outlook contact file for quick inclusion into outlook mail. We need the entire site and process designed top to bottom to match the functionality of this website. In addition, we want to offer themes based on the category the person fits in, i.e. college students and kids might have the ability to have an image of a school. These would be preset themes and let's just say there would be 5 of them. Your quote should include how much additional themes would be, i.e. $50 per theme. In addition, a photo can be uploaded and stored with the profile to be visible on the profile page. The system you create would also need to create short urls to link back to the profile. Please provide us with a quote on the entire system - website, profile setup and management, profile themes, text application to allow the website to send out the profile link to the texted party, and short URL creation. Please also provide us with a detail of how you plan to provide this solution as well as several examples of your work including similar projects particularly with texting involved. If you do not have a robust portfolio, please do not respond!
