Need a Python script that runs in back ground on Pi3 and open an image on a given set of co-ordinates are met - running external GPS on usb input. CGPS is already running and pulling gps co-ordinates in, i need help with getting the image to open when the coordinates are met for example, you enter the co-ordinates of your house and when you arrive home and a icon / picture of a house shows on the screen.

Hey there! It sounds like you are using CGPS with a bash script to collect the data and writing it as a file for Python to pull data from and you are just asking for the actual Python script? If not I can help you with the bash script as well, or work with a different method that you are already using. Then you just want a specific task--opening an image file--when the coordinates meet a specific point? If I am understanding you correctly, it shouldn't be very hard, and the Python script could even be reused for other tasks as well if you would like to do something similar in the future. I will make sure to comment how to edit the script if you ever want to, just make sure you save a copy first. By the way, I am just asking for 4 days, to make sure I can collect everything I would need from you to make it work, or if you want me to do the Bash script as well. I bid on the low end because I'm new and don't have any reviews yet, so I'm hoping you will give me a chance. I won't let you down! Thank you and good luck.
