I need a 2D animator to complete a series of short, simple, animations as part of an Augmented Reality project that documents the history surrounding a local heritage centre.

Hi there, I'm Jake Mander, I study Computer Science at Derby University, and I'm currently an intern project manager working to develop a series of Augmented Reality exhibits for the Wirksworth Heritage Centre in Wirksworth, Derbyshire. The project aims to produce a series of Augmented Reality based exhibits to showcase some of the history local to Wirksworth including it's mining history, the . As part of this, we want to use the Wirksworth Heritage Centre's mascot (The T'owd Man - Please see the heritage centre's logo) to make our content more engaging and fun. We have two larger animations, and a series of small little themed animations that will sit in the corner and introduce the subject areas we have chosen. We do not need sound or voice overs. We will be implementing this in an Augmented Reality suite of tools called "Blippar" The animations we have formulated are as follows: - An animation that spoof the Ikea Man and one of their instruction manual's using T'owd Man, and demonstrates the stages involved in making a well dressing. - An animated T'owd man who walks along a gallery of images and narrates the history of Well dressing. - An animated T'owd man in his mining garb who tunnels his way on screen, narrates the mining topic, and then disappears back down his tunnel. - A T'owd man in train conductors attire, who walks on, blows his whistle, narrates the topic, and then walks off screen. - A T'owd man narrator who pops his head out of an Aquabox (A local charitable scheme that contains water pumps and survival gear for areas in need of humanitarian aid), narrates, and then disappears back inside the box. - A T'owd man who walks on in doctors scrubs/drives in on an ambulance/ wheels through on a gurney, says his narration, and then exits. Each file needs to be exported to .MP4 and overlaid on a green chroma key background so we can edit in transparency. We have several files already available outlining in greater detail what we are after and will be available to discuss further if required. We have compiled a list of sources in Teams which we can provide access to in order to give you a greater understanding of each area if required. The deadline for this would be the 19th July. As this is being done for a charity (The Wirksworth Heritage Centre), our budget so the cheaper this can be done, the better. Ultimately, we are looking more for making people smile and be wowed at the interactive content we are delivering, not necessarily by the fidelity and complexity of the animations themselves.
