I'm looking for someone who will write some highly detailed Top 25 Fantasy Book lists for a number of different topics. You must be a NATIVE speaker of English (from the US, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, etc). This is a requirement. You must love reading fantasy and be an active reader and you've got to be an awesome writer to boot. If you are not well read in the fantasy subgenre and you don't know a lot about fantasy, you won't get the job -- you will be expected to PROVE THIS. I'm looking for someone who knows how to write quality list style articles. Each of these lists will 25 items with each item having 200 or so words of detailed text explaining why it's the best. So each list will run about 5000 words in total. You'll write stuff like *The Best Fantasy Books of 1980's *Top 25 Best Fantasy by Foreign Authors *15 Fantasy Books to Read After Lord of the Rings *Books That Won the HUGO Awards and more I'll pay $75 USD per each list done (and I have potentially between 5-10 lists with future work potential as well). I will help come up with the list items and orders with you and help with some of the research. The style of writing will be something like: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] ---- If you are interested in this position, in 150 words tell me WHY you are SUITABLE for THIS Job and what your favorite fantasy books are.

First of all, I am not from any of the countries you mentioned, but I do consider myself a native English speaker. I've been reading and writing in English since I was three, and I had read the Encyclopedia Britannica by the time I was nine. I have also been an avid Cracked reader for a few years now, so I am very familiar with list articles, if that helps. My favorite fantasy book is The Silmarilion, with the LOTR books following closely. I also like the ASOIAF series, though I've only gotten into it recently. I try to read at least one book a month, though I don't limit this to just fantasy titles. My professional experience includes writing blog articles for a website, and technical writing and editing (in American English) for a leading telecommunications company. I am as suited for this job as Frodo was suited to take the one ring to…. Wait, that isn’t a good example. He was probably the least suited to take on such a delicate mission! The point is that I love Fantasy novels! I am currently writing my own as well. There has been times that I have wanted to create a blog for exactly what you are asking for. The only issue is my lack of spare time to develop a website. In saying that I would be extremely happy to complete content for your lists and it is something I am very interested in.
