Property Website – Property Import XML schema The aim of this project is to “web scrape” properties from many different Estate Agents (or Real Estate Agents) websites. There are many agents that use a common interface or application such as Expert Agent ([login to view URL] ) or Vebra ([login to view URL]) so scraping data from Estate Agents that use this common interface will be similar. Many of the Estate Agents will use a unique interface and each scrape will be different. The most common type of scrape will consist of reading pages (or lists) of properties then “drilling down” to the individual property details to gain the maximum amount of information possible, that fits the xml schema attached The scrape needs to be automated daily with anything up to 500 websites list to follow.
