Data Management Consultant

We are looking for a database specialist to join our client's team for a large financial project. This consultant will use his expertise in designing the architectural standards and strategies for the entire group. • Support the setup of a data management team; • Support the definition of processes, deliverables and interfaces for the daily work in data management and data warehouse architecture; • Analyze the current data & data warehouse landscape together with UITS internal resources (data models, data governance, data exchange); • Identify optimization opportunities in the data management/data warehouse area and provide project proposals "ready to sign"; • Define a detailed target infrastructure/network architecture in collaboration with other specialists from business architecture and application architecture up to infrastructure architecture; • Support ongoing data warehouse projects; • Act as a coach and primary source of knowledge/experience for data management/ modelling and data warehouse questions for a future internal data architect; QUALIFICATIONS • Expert knowledge in data modelling; • Expert knowledge in service design; • Expert knowledge of relevant IT markets and technological developments; • Expert knowledge of data storage and transfer, and encryption technologies; • Expert knowledge of data access technologies; • Expert knowledge of service integration technologies; • Good overview of the business and application architecture; • Good command of spoken and written English;
