Improve processing speed of program version 2

I am interested in the task. Proposed plan: rewriting the actual code in Fortran, to parallel (smp) processing (assuming the actual program is not too complex for a more or less simple rewrite). It seems to me, the 4% CPU usage is not related to the RAM (at least maybe), but to the fact that the program uses only one CPU thread (and not even fully...). You might correct me if I have missed something. :-)

And I will make it to use 100% cpu. But ram usage depends on input file. And use also ssd in place of hdd.
