Dear Client, While we understand the project is a back-end implementation for the cloud based service we would require roughly three weeks to a month of work to set up something like this. Tasks can be executed on any nature of the tool and complexity of the total tool and volume of data involved. We would be looking a scalable data warehousing model as well as a performance transaction database for this. Open Questions - Is the CI/CD already set up , do we integrate with an existing CI ? We understand that terraform is preferred however the cloud platform native way of handing infrastructure as code is generally a more recommended approach (eg. Hi, I have been working for an odoo consulting firm for the last three years. I am the main Cloud Engineer in this company where I have built an infrastructure with similar features to the one you have envisioned. I have deployed a DC/OS cluster in these cloud providers: IBM, Azure, Google, AWS where I have managed the build and deploy docker images of odoo and PostgreSQL using the Mesosphere framework (similar to kubernetes which can run in DC/OS as well). I know how to use Terraform + ansible. I usually work on a system with gitlab - Jenkins, where I built most of the apps using scripted pipelines and then deploy them to the docker cluster. I know how to use Jenkins and the cluster command-line tools to optimize the use of the cluster resources by autoscaling up and down the number of nodes, and using OnDemand instances for production environment and spot instances for the staging one. I have implemented automated backups of the databases using PostgreSQL client tools and automated snapshot in AWS to store backups in S3 buckets according to a backup plan. I have implemented wall-e backups to store physical backups remotely in S3. I have worked with data persistence configuration in DC/OS to preserve the PostgreSQL between restarts of the docker containers. I have implemented IPsec VPN networks which connects google, aws an azure.

Terraform approach is good but I would recommend using Microservices architecture. There are many other software which helping in making a scalable Web Crawling Application which I'll discuss after hire.

A sample architecture for such an application would look something like this: I suggest the app run AWS Serverless. The web scraper can be kicked off using a queuing system such as SQS.
