We are looking for freelance story writers who can write gripping chat stories - short stories in a conversational format as if they were text messages, for an app. The app is a new interactive format of story-telling where a story unfolds in the form of conversations much like the script of a play. The conversational chat stories are rolled out on a mobile app platform and are supplemented with multimedia - sounds, voice notes, images, videos. Writers will be given complete freedom to choose from the following categories : Horror, Mystery/Thriller, Drama, Romance. The shortlisted writers will have to share a sample story (ranging between 1500 - 2500 words) which, if accepted, will be paid ($ 15 / story) and will get featured on the app. Shortlisted writers can also opt for retainer engagements in which we will mutually decide on a monthly submission schedule. Details of the retainer and rates will be shared once applicant is shortlisted.
