Build a simple circuit to shutdown a raspberry on power loss and restart it on power retrieve -- 2

I have over 35 years experience as an electronic design engineer, please see my profile for more details The current price and timescales are only place holders to allow me to communicate with you This is quite a coincidence since I have recently just designed and proved a circuit to implement very near to what you require. The only difference is that I designed this for 1A and not 2A or 3A so it would need to be up rated. Also this circuit just provides advance warning of a power loss and then holds up for as long of the super caps hold up. If the power comes on again before the super caps discharge then the warning signal is just removed. This circuit I have produced is available right now Best Regards Dave Lelievre

it could be done ...but i don't think the 2A can be measured and controlled if the required amps not available voltage will be dropped..... so no needs to worry voltage drop can be detected .... i may suggest a transistor based circuit for over voltage protection and mosfet with RC circuit for the delay for the power management...for 5v regulator may i suggest LM1084 and mosfets like irlb8721..what do you say....total 1 transistor ,2 mosfet,2 or 3 cap,3 zenor and couple of resistors in mind....(note i don't even thought about having supercap)
