Design a kitchen hot water boiler for approximately 10 people to use. The boiler you design should be able to provide, at least, 10 mugs of hot water within 20 mins (the time between water being added to the boiler, and it reaching the required temperature). The water is initially heated from room temperature to 90 °C and is then required to be kept at a temperature of between 85 °C to 90 °C. The boiler is powered from a standard 13A socket. Points to include 1-Estimate the amount of heat that will be required to heat up the water from room temperature to 90 °C; 2-Calculate how much energy will be released when temperature drops from 90 °C to 85 °C; 3-Estimate how long will it take to heat the water from room temperature to 90 °C; 4- Evaluate the thermodynamic performance and efficiency of your design using heat transfer theory. Note The work needs to be done in a report format. Introduction, Literature review, Methods, Results, Discussion and conclusion are to be included in the report. also References should be in MMU Harvard style.
