Script an Excel workflow; outputs two files using data from two input files

Hello, I got some questions regarding to the example zip file. 1. The Catalog# in [login to view URL] has duplication. The Cat in [login to view URL] has duplication. I suppose those are unique key fields 2. The data between input csv and output csv do not match 3. The number of records between input csv and output csv are different I guess the example zip does not contain real data and real result? It shows the csv sample layout only. Please try my work in http://freelance.8pnet.com. To start the test, please: 1. zip your [login to view URL] 2. zip your [login to view URL] in another zip file 3. upload the 2 zip files to my website 4. wait for half hour to one hour for program execution if there are around 200,000 records in each file. (My program is running in a very old and low end NAS only. Normal machine should run much faster) 5. go to my website again to download the result The job is written in PERL. PERL is bundled in most UNIX/LINUX system. Windows terminal can also execute PERL program after installed strawberry PERL. It is free. --------------------------- I can finish the program in 2 days and provide you a webpage to submit 2 input excel files. You can then download the 2 output csv and check correctness. In the final delivery, I will only provide you the backend processing script. Is it ok if I use perl to do? Please pm me for discussion

For this task I will use my own C#.Net Rapid Application Development libraries that contain methods for input / output file handling, delimited data parsing, and a basic GUI amongst many others. File paths will be defined in an XML config file (as could any "variable" data substitution rukes. The input csv files can either be selected in a standard directory browser tree or could be config file parameters.

Hello. I would write the application in C#. You can have totally automatic job or if you prefer I could create UI with table of proposed result for user to make corrections by hand if needed.
