scope:
1. 100% Visual, Dimensional and Quantity check to see if all items are complying
with our PO materials list and required spec in page 8 and 9 technical
requirements.(file will be deliverd)
2. Checking all required points according to whatever mentioned in our PO.
3. Review of precise matching of each Heat Number mention on Material Test
Certificates and Punched Heat Number on materials.
4. All items shall be new and free from any defect or pitting or serious rusting.
5. All original certificates shall be reviewed, signed and stamped by inspector.
Note: All MTC certificates should be either original or original version should
has /be truly copied by the third party inspector But not the supplier.
6. reviewing suitable packing and stamping all packing lists.
7. Pictures of the materials are requested to be attached to the inspection report.
8. Draft of inspection report shall be sent to us within maximum 48 hours in order
to be reviewed/ commented before arranging the shipment.
9. Material shall be packed ready for export in a manner which allows easy
handling and prevents damage.
10. Water proof barrier material shall be used for stainless steel materials to
protect against chlorine attack by exposure to salt water atmosphere.
11. About the welding non-destructive tests (PT, UT, RT...), supplier must provide
the reports for company information and documentation. (These are not held
points).
12. No welding near expansion joint shall be performed unless expansion joint
belows are protected against weld spatter.
13. Expansion joint shipping rods to be painted with orange color to be removed
after equipment installation at site.
14. Spring rate test shall be performed on the expansion joint.
15. Expansion joint is designed to withstand design pressure on one side in
combination of zero pressure on the other side.
16. Pressure testing shall be performed as per code.
17. Below seams to be 100%radiographed before forming and 100% die
penetrate inspected after forming. All other welded attachments of expansion
joint shall be 100%dye penetrate inspected.

19. “About the inspection Supplier’s fabrication schedule shall be submitted to
company to arrange the TPI and witness on some activities. (These are hold
points and the fabrication must followed up after company confirmation.)
a- Main raw material inspection (VT and review the original MTC)
b- Checking the tensile strength of the PQR specimens.
c- Hydrostatic pressure test (internal and external)
d- Final inspection (shipping Packing)
inspector has to take photos from each section.

I'm graphic designer, I'm living in Vigo - España. So about pics, Are you in contact with the material supplier? Does he know the aspects you want to know? The photos would be of the product and packaging? What are the aspects you are looking for?

I must warn you though that I'm not a mechanical engineer. I almost majored in civil engineering before I decided to switch. I do have experience in construction and therefore in materials.
