Hello, I understand you have a requirement for a designer to work on fancy cut stones for creation of an exclusive design collection. I enjoy working with fancy cut stones too. There used to be a time in India when fancy cut stones were not appreciated much and traditional styles and colors chosen over a large variety of stones that can be used. The problem could have been perception of consumers, but also marketing and low emphasis on design. I am confident a good design can transform a fancy cut stone and make it a piece of designer expression. As it is not mentioned in your design brief what stones or what is the scale of your project, I would be happy to have a chat about the same with you.
