Casual/ Freelance PowerPoint Presentation Specialist

We are a PowerPoint design agency seeking the experience of a talented PowerPoint presentation design specialist for ongoing freelance work. We are looking for a PowerPoint Design Specialist to create a mix of corporate, hip, innovative PowerPoint presentations, an individual with a passion for design, you must be highly motivated, a self starter with strong work ethics, and above all you must have the expertise to both format existing presentations as well as create new ones from scratch by designing interesting concepts for our clients. You must also know how to set up templates/ masters/ placeholders, etc. Our jobs range from straightforward layout and formatting of a PowerPoint Presentation for a corporate client on a PC platform, right through to a highly creative pitch or event presentations using Keynote on a Mac platform. These presentations can almost always involve all sorts of media files and images, and often require creative input too. You will also be required to… • Proofread completed projects to ensure quality and accuracy; • Collaborate with team members on complex or special projects; • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information; and • From time to time you may also be required to work on internal document design. And you… This position requires experience in delivering graphically engaging, concise and interactive presentations. The ideal candidate knows all the general desktop publishing tools, has experience in a high-tech environment, and is familiar and comfortable with Slide:ology/Duarte presentation concepts. We are looking for someone with excellent visual design skills and high attention to detail. You must be able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, on typically tight deadlines. Basic technical requirements include: • Minimum three years’ experience in PowerPoint presentation design; • Expert skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; • Knowledge of specialised applications, including Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, etc; • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye in terms of aesthetics; • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team; • Ability to prioritise work to balance multiple projects and deadlines; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
