We currently need a Frontend developer with good UI/UX skills for a complex and long-term project including the front-end design and development of an in-house developed healthcare services web application. The workload is expected to be ~20 hours/week for first month; about 2-5 hours per week thereafter, indefinitely. You want to be part of a team with whom you can build a long-term working relationship. We value enthusiasm and great communication above extensive experience. While we are happy for someone to be learning on the job. However, we still need you to have a minimum level of experience and will require you to complete a short paid test assignment. Requirements: At least 2 years of experience working with frontend web design and development. - Css: required - Web design: greatly desired - Angular 2: greatly desired - UX / experience translating requirements into mockups/wireframes: a plus - Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization - Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization - Google-firebase, knowledge is a plus Responsibilities: - Work with the team to develop modern, intuitive user workflows and interfaces for our web application - Ensure that all relevant information is communicated speedily and accurately in a way that ensures that the information is received and easily understood - Adhere to and recommend improvements to project coding standards Work closely with our senior developer. Have the freedom to suggest and implement improvements to the design and aesthetics of the application based on your knowledge and experience. An ideal profile would: Improve our overall look and feel of our product and tie to together a great experience with a great look and feel (UI) create written and verbal requirements through to basic mock-ups/wireframes (UX) help guide decision making, and then deliver the front-end coding focus on the user, understand then improve the usability and ease of use in the interaction between the user and the product (UX)
