We are looking for a DevOps with strong System Administrator skills. Job Description: - Set up and maintain dedicated severs with hyper-visors running Linux (Proxmox etc) - Set up and maintain development , testing, QA and production environments - Set up and maintain SMTP and IMAP servers with IP rotation - Set up, test and maintain server security, firewalls, certificates - Set up and configure web servers and applications (everything from servers to Apache, nginx, php, VPN, databases to wordpress plugins) - Frequently communicate and update tickets assigned - Assist developers and management with investigation of products and applications. - Ability to switch gears/tasks as needed Must have extensive experience with: - Debian based Linux servers - Hyervisors and VM Management: Proxmox, VMware, Zen - Firewall, load-balancing, etc. - Common software/apps: Jira, OSTickets, BitWarden, NextCloud, - Setting up, configuring, securing linux based systems; make recommendations, test solutions. - Security and penetration testing - Database setup/management: MySql, MariaDB, MongoDB and Cassandra - single and cluster setup - Extensive Mail server experience - SMTP, IMAP, POP3 Setup. DKIM, DMARC, SPF etc. - Wordpress setup, security and performance optimisation - AWS and other cloud services- including setting up private cloud services. - Setting up and maintaining common web-server applications - Supporting developers: Git repos, setting up and managing development, staging, testing and live servers Personal skills: - Good communicator - Willingness to document work done - Fast response time - Work with teams in Canada and India - 20-40hrs/week to full-time/permanent.
