Looking for a system administrator to handle our servers. Primarily the job consists of 1. Setting up new servers 2. Weekly security audits on any active servers we have 3. Applying security updates, software updates... etc.

Hi, I'm new to Freelancer and I'm still looking to start with a new project. I hope my experience would be helpful for your need. I'm a *nix person with close to 18 years as a system admin/engineer in NYC. I've been in dotcom, banks such as Deutsche Banks and JP Morgan. Currently I'm working at a second tier currency trading venue. I build and maintain the whole server environment in 3 Equinix data center in NY, London and Tokyo. A person working in technology has to keep updating himself. I'm looking exposure to different types of technology and setup through freelance works.
