I have several VDMK files. Need to recover data. Receiving error message as an example see attached. Other error is "cannot open file as VDMK archive. The file is open as MBR archive"

Hello. I have many years of sysadmin experience and I might be able to help you. All I'm asking for is a copy of one of those vmdk files so I can play with it and see what's wrong in there. Once I'm done I will provide you with all the details required so you can extract the data on your own or let me carry on and rescue all of those disks. Just let me know when you need me. Thank you.

I'm not sure your file have problem or not. But you can open VDMK files with 7-Zip >> Extract >> then Open file nfts agian with 7-Zip >> then copy or you install VMware Workstation , then can Map this file VDMK then restore data, use copy :D. I think you can do it, so easy. But if not just call me. Have nice day!
