I am using a Windows server with Navicat for the MySQL database and EasyPHP for connecting to the MySQL database. I have a Delphi 7 chat program that is supposed to connect to the server via the server IP. I had this all working perfectly fine until I changed servers and now I don't know why it won't connect. I turned off the Firewall and allowed the EasyPHP and program's server .exe in the firewall but neither solved the issue.

Hello there I'm delphi software developer ^^ well I used to deal with delphi since version 7 till 10.3 Rio , well I used to code database-driven applications using the latest engines like FireDac,ADO,ODBC,Unidac and so forth , dealing with DBMS like SQLSERVER,MYSQL,SQLITE,FIREBIRD and so forth , this is just a connection problem coz with my sql you could could connect using the library or TCP/IP anyway just give me the green light and I will do my best Regards

Good day, which connections You use? Zeoslib, ADO or something other? I think there is the problem. For Mysql the best is MyDAC components, which work fins also with remote Mysql in hostings. I have 14+ years experience in Delphi, with business-financial database development. What is the error ? I use for my new projects in Delphi 7 XAMPP, it is working fine, and it is also free.
