Java applet data animation
This .NET application will select one master and several related detail records in a master/detail/detail fashion from a database and prepare a java applet that shows the linked relationship between those records in an animated, node-based fashion that will allow a user to mouse over a node for details of the record as well as to click on a node to have that node become the master of the display. Please see <[login to view URL]> as an example.
There will be a single central node and 2 outer layers of linked nodes (as well as interlinked nodes where applicable).
In addition, a list will be displayed with each node represented and as the node is moused over, the applicable entry on the list will display. Clicking that list will display a pop up with more detailed information.
The application will be written in .NET, VB.NET preferred.
See also <[login to view URL]>.
The application requires knowledge of:
.NET (VB.NET)
Java and Java Applets
SQL expression construction
The development record will be comprised of one table - Connections - with these fields:
ConnectionID - Long - a number unique to each record
ContactID - Long - the anchor link id
LinkID - Long - the related link ID
LinkInfo - String, 50 chars - information for the pop up display
ConnectionTypeID - integer
