WordPress Theme - Widget Support - CSS/XHTML Complaint - PSD Design Provided

I need a WORDPRESS 3.x theme built to my requirements below. PSD design provided. Site Content provided as Wordpress export to facilitate faster theme development. ## Deliverables **Wordpress Theme Requirements** **HOW TO BID FOR THIS JOB** * Please read ALL the text below describing my requirements * Please make note of the snapshots/images provided below * Please provide links to wordpress themes you have created, as to demonstrate your ability to create (x)html/css compliant cross-broswer themes. * Bids without quotes will not be considered. **Overview OF JOB** I need a WORDPRESS 3.x theme built to my requirements below. The design was created in Adobe Photoshop and you will be provided a PSD, along with any specific source imagery you need. ****Theme Requirements**** Special Requirements Of This Theme * I require a comprehensive CSS style sheet to provide layout support for the standard CSS classes wordpress provides for content/post area and navigation support. *(i.e. paragraph, header [h1,h2,h3?], blockquote, quotes, image position/layout, etc ? )* * I want separate widget regions for the sidebar, footer, and image slider (on home page) * The Blog Title and subtitle should appear in the HTML code as H1 and H2 tags for search engines to find, even when not visible in the theme. As well as other standard optimizations. * I need brief documentation of the [ purpose / elements targeted ] by CSS styles / classes created for this theme. * Google Analytics code should be included. * Comments need to be disabled, closed, and not displayed at all to the user, on any page/post. * MUST be cross-browser complaint, supporting IE6-9, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari on Major Operating Systems (Windows xp, 2000, vista, 7, OSX, etc.. ) **Home Page Template Requirements** The HOME template needs to contain the following sections: * Header * Must display logo/design provided in PSD * Must not display Blog Title and Subtitle (Although, they should not be removed, only hidden with css so they are still available to search engines). * Navigation bar * Must support drop down menus though the use of cross browser techniques. And should use CSS styled text for displayed menu elements instead of full-graphic menu items. * Should use fonts as close to the source PSD as possible while staying within acceptable limits of widely used fonts. * Feature (Large) - Image Slider (todo: add example...) * This widget show display a dynamic "Image Slider" (Examples here: ?). * The Images should be specified in the widget properties, along with the titles, and/or descriptions. * Body - Page/Post Content * Should include a right-hand page-list/sidebar (specific pages only). * If no pages specified then sidebar should be hidden. * ***Note: all available CSS classes provided by Wordpress should be supported in all content areas.*** * Features (Small) - 3 Columns, featured page link list. * Should contain 3 columns, each holding a widget. * Default widget should display image, title, and teaser from specific post/page. * Each of the 3 widgets should link to the specified post. * Footer * Display footer design, and content specified in PSD. **Page And Post Template Requirements** The PAGE template should contain the following sections: * Header * Same as HOME template. * Navigation bar * Same as HOME template. * Body - Page/Post Content (with right-hand sidebar) * I In addition the requirements specified in the HOME template sections above, this section should list child pages instead of a specified page list. * If no child pages then sidebar should be hidden. * ***Note: all available CSS classes provided by Wordpress should be supported in all content areas.*** * Features (Small) - 3 Columns, featured page link list. *(can be enabled/disabled for each page).* * In addition the requirements specified in the HOME template sections above, this section should be able to be enabled/disabled for each "page" in the Wordpress admin panel - page editor * Footer * Same as HOME template. **Global Fonts & Text Styles.** * CSS styles should use consistent fonts, by means of typography styles. You should separate the assignment of typography from those styles dealing with layout or design. **Navigation, Sidebar, and Link Lists** * All list and navigation should support :hover styles, as well as a "active" or "current" page/section/parent indicator. * All advanced techniques (for drop down menus, etc ...), should fail gracefully. **General Theme Requirements** * Standard template files should be included. (search, 404, index, home, page, post, single, etc..) * Should be designed to work with Word Press 3.x or higher.
