The 3D room planner is very important and must integrate with the chat feature*** ***attached is a very rough video of how the room planner will work, there are 1000 sofas which will need to be modelled in the planner**** ## Deliverables Website package The website will contain the following pages and features. * Information pages * Intuitive search function * Product range selection * Product details page * Recommended products * Wish List * Normal or Express checkout * Credit check if required for monthly payment * Promotions * Performance reporting and statistics * Order management * Client management * 3D room planner Functionality **3D Room Planner** Client will be able to design a room in a 3d perspective. The user will be able to view the room from multiple angles with a simple intuitive interface to aid navigation. There will need to be accurate representaions of (1000 sofas) Other features will include the functionality to: * Select from a predetermined room layout * Create a new layout * Add fixtures and fittings to create an accurate representation of their own room using drag and drop * After room construction allow the user to alter an unlimited number of times * Allow the user to place accurate representations of the range of sofas in the room for comparison * Allow the website operator to step in and help the user at any point to facilitate a sale using the live chat feature * Allow a user to checkout directly from the planner Website Monitoring System We propose to create an application which will monitor the availability of content on the website, it will do this by sending requests to the site on a timed predetermined basis. This application can also monitor the real time performance of the site whist ensuring up-time. If at any point a request is not met by the website then it will attempt the request again. If a further failure occurs it will run a series of requests then issue an alert with a full report of any issues so that they can be resolved immediately. **Live Chat/Monitoring System** The monitoring system will allow the operator to monitor the clients online activities and provide support and sales at any given moment. The operator can view all the pages the client has viewed on the site, and also the format of their 3d room. One operator can manage multiple clients. Something like a customised ZOPIM **Search Engine Optimisation** The website will be designed with SEO in mind, each product and content page will be able to set different title and meta keywords, and also the description. Every different product and content page will have an SEO friendly URL, and every page will have a clear navigation path. **Server Infrastructure** The website will have it's own dedicated server group to ensure optimal performance under all conditions.
