I'm looking for a freelancer to develop a web interface for Email accounts. I want to create a service in which a client signs up his email accounts and can see them and use them fully via web. The user must be able to sign up all his email accounts (whether its a POP, IMAP, or SMTP), and the web interface must provide a fully functional interface for him to use his accounts. It's a service like you find on smartphones, but on the internet instead of a device. It should be similar to Outlook WebAccess. User must be able to: View and fully manage his existing email folders; Drag and drop interactive interface; Receive emails; Send emails; Reply emails; Forward emails; Delete emails; Archive emails; View address book; All this must happen live, with constant push updates as to keep the email account updated. This interface should be incorporated within an existing web site. Therefore, should be developed in PHP. Not necessarily core PHP, can use CodeIgniter or another framework we discuss later. I have +10 years of experience in programming. Be careful about what exactly you are doing! I am expert in making scripts working with emails and despite I am new to freelancer, you can see in my profile that I have at least 10 jobs working with POP3, IMAP and SMTP. My main consideration is that you may choose wrong design to reach your requirements. The most simple, extendable and reliable design for your requirements is 1. Running an open source and free mail server on your server. 2. Make a front end to let users submit their emails and passwords and backend to make new email for each user in your mail server and save login information of user original emails in database. 3. Making a simple script to connect to each user original emails periodically and forward and send a copy to that user email account on your mail server. 4. Running an open source and free webmail like roundcube on your server to let users work with account which is on your server. Let's discuss more if you have any consideration on each item and think is not good choice. Regards
