Customer Network / Computer Status program (In VB 6)

We maintain software and networks for various clients. Timely support is a big factor in supporting my clients. I want to design an client/server app that gets installed on all of my client's computers. All my clients are VPN'd into my servers. I want the client portion of the application to gather information on the pc ( Name of PC, user logged on, Lan Ip Address, Internet IP Address if available, perhaps a snapshot of processes running -win2k/xp, memory in use/available and some other information that may be helpfull). A shortcut should be available to perform a screenshot and send it to the server app. It should also be able to send messages between the client and the server apps. Client information should get stored in sql server database for ease of retrieval. I have functions to store images to a database field, so let's try to store the screen shot in the database along with the client's information. I would like this to run in the background. This information could be gathered realtime or in 1 - 5 minute increments depending on processing speed of the app. The server app should be visible and have a way to view all current users logged on, click on user to get the gathered information and view latest screenshot. It should have the ability to send user a message from that screen as well. We could discuss other option that you may be able to do depending on your skill level. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2000, Windows XP Sql server 2000
