We are looking to develop an Event site (Event Registration platform) that enables event organizers to create events, share events with friends and sell tickets. Interested users can then buy tickets for events and pay via paypal and credit card & offline payment etc... 1 Functional Specification 1.1 Event Organizer functions Event Organizers will be able to: • Login/ register using Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, etc. • Create an event • View all events under profile and edit events • Personalize the event page theme and modify colours • Preview events before making it live • Upload event logo and theme background • Upload vouchers & coupons • Upload attendees • Upload seatings plan and define price per seat per floor etc • View and modify draft events • Customize event registration order form • Edit order confirmation and message • Edit Language and Event type (Ticketed or Registration) • Add news and updates • Create, import and manage contact list • Send email invitations from contact list with option to integrate with Mailchimp • Publish to Facebook & Twitter and invite people • Create Display event calendar, form, countdown and button widget for websites • Real-time statistics showing page views, no of tickets bought/ registrations, attendees geography, event attendance by time, event attendance vs no shows etc • Option to integrate statistics with google analytics using API • Search for tickets, events, payments, • View orders, issue refunds, add attendee and payment type, edit attendee info etc • Email attendees: set time before and after emails sent to the attendee • Create and customize tickets (tickets will have a unique number and QR code) • Create a survey which is sent before or after the event • Create a waiting list: Automatically turns when ticket type sells out or event capacity is reached to collect contact information • Customize and print name Badges • Print check-in list (Iphone & Andriod) • Check in Attendee (Iphone & Andriod) • An organizer will be able create sub-organizer accounts which will have a restricted financial view. These sub accounts can be used to login into the mobile Entry Manager app so tickets can be scanned at the door. • Event manager can create an iframe from registration form. 1.2 Event Attendee functions Event Attendees will be able to: • Buy tickets or register for events • Search for events • View tickets bought/ registrations and print tickets • Short list events • Show recommended events and events coming up • Use a Mobile interface to buy tickets (Android, IOS, Windows 8, & Blackberry compatible) 1.3 Admin functions An administrator can: • Perform everything and organizer can do • Create/ Edit Organizers • Create / Edit Events • Produce statistics on events and organizers • Moderate events • Manage featured gallery • Issue refunds • Search for tickets, events, payments, organizers • View payments and payments statistics 3 Mobile Entry Manager App A mobile entry app will also be required to check-in people that have bought a ticket to the event. The event organizer will be able to login on a mobile device and perform the following • Select event and Search for Attendee by ticket Number/ Name • Scan and check-in Attendee Ticket.
