Winning Coder will get $100 + 50 of these serial controller devices.
I have a bunch of these serial device controllers that control up to 4 low amp/low volt devices. Originally used to control vibrators. I need someone to provide an interface to make and store 'routines'. Would like to exchange a bunch of these devices in return for programming assistance. Please contact me for more details. It has a chip PIC16C710 inside.
I need a simple interface that will record how I would like to control the unit in real time. The unit should be responding at the same time as recording. I imagine this is controlling only the voltage of the unit, so I would want something like: no power, 1/4 power, 1/2 power, 3/4 power, full power, ramp up (fast/med/slow), ramp down (fast/med/slow), oscillate (fast/med/slow), pulse (fast/med/slow). After recording I should be able to play back this routine.
The devices that will be pluggin into the unit usually require 2 AA batteries. I believe there is also a 3 amp fuse for each toy. I have included some images of the original interface that I will provide for you as well as the java applets for using the device on the web. I will not need the device to be controlled by other users. I will provide a SERIAL-USB adapter
Use any language that will allow to record and play back routines and have 'real-time' control of the controller.
