We are looking to create a Facebook application for music content (intentionally vague).
Data for the application will be delivered through XML APIs which we will provide. You will need to retrieve data from those APIs and display the data to the users, in some cases within a flash app to ensure copy protection.
Developer will also need to integrate the app into the Facebook environment; eg., inviting friends, displaying items in news feeds, viral implementations, etc.
Required experience:
1. Facebook development experience a MUST. We want to get this done quickly and don't have time to wait for you to learn their development environment.
2. Flash - simple Flash skills will be required.
3. Content retrieval through XML APIs - we will give you access to the APIs, you should know what to do with them!
4. DHTML/AJAX/design skills a plus
In your responses and bids, please provide:
a) Examples of previous Facebook applications you have created
b) Examples of previous Flash work
c) APPROXIMATE development time - give examples of how long it took you to build your previous apps
d) Pricing (range is OK; obviously there's a lot more to it than what's here, and I will provide more details once the field has been narrowed)
Feel free to ask as many questions as you like to get a better feel for the project before bidding. I will answer as much as I can.
