On the woocommerce side for wordpress I need a automated patient verification addition. Basically by adding another field which will be the customer inputing the website below. Once submitted I need to send the required field (a patient number) auto-filled out on the included site below to verify the patient. Then update the status of the customer as verified or not verified within woocommerce. There will be more websites that patients can verify on and I will supply the list I need once I award the project. The whole idea is an automated patient verification process built into the account creation page. Hello, I believe you just need a custom field added to registration that your customer will fill out when creating an account. Once the account is successfully created the script will then poll the other website with the patient ID, and update a custom field in Woocommerce to let you know if that customer is already verified. I do have a quick question though, this list of websites they can verify on, how large is it? Web scraping usually requires that each one be custom coded since they will all likely have different forms and responses. (Also, do any have captcha's?) Thanks, Keith

Hello. I'll start by relaying my understanding of your project, as you requested. You need the WordPress account registration functionality altered to include a 'patient number' field which needs to check external verification websites (provided by you) to ensure validity of the patient number. The way I would achieve this is by remotely posting (HTTP POST) the patient number to the external website servers and parse the result for a validity verdict and then use that to mark the user's patient number as valid. I have one question; what is the action taken if the patient number isn't valid, do we just display and error message? Thank you for your consideration.
