Back end engineer (PHP/Redis/MySQL)

Fantastic opportunity to work with former engineers from Oracle, Dell, Deloitte and NCR. An early-stage startup is looking to hire an experienced Back-end Engineer with proven work experience in developing scalable mobile apps - preferably with exposure to developing API's, caching using Redis, Handling complex datamodels etc. Strong expertise needed in - Redis / PHP / MySQL / Code igniter/ Azure We are ONLY looking for experienced freelancers. Experience in designing and implementing Redis structures is MANDATORY. The task must be started RIGHT AWAY. Responsibilities: • Drive the architecture, design and development of new features. • Collaborate with the current developers to brainstorm and arrive at simple and scalable solutions • Analyze business issues and technical problems, apply critical thinking, and provide creative, architecturally sound, extensible solutions. • Individually contribute to the development using your expertise in PHP, Redis, MySQL and Code Igniter. • Exposure to Azure and implementing Redis on Azure is additional advantage. • Hands-on coding, debugging, testing across all aspects of the software. • Perform design reviews and code reviews. • Advocate and enforce Agile/Scrum best practices. • Flexibility to work on aggressive timelines.
