You are required to develop a web-based attendance system. This system will be used to record and manage students’ attendance for the class module “Web Development”. The system is intended to be used by the lecturer of this module. It should provide 2 pages: 1. Recording attendance 2. View students attendance statistics The database used by this system should consist of student and attendance table. Programming languages that may be used: HTML, PHP, JSON, JAVASCRIPT, AJAX with CSS for web styling RECORDING ATTENDANCE The first page should allow the lecturer to select a particular month. Once a month is selected, the page should display the class schedule for that month and the name list of all students. The lecturer can then mark the attendance of the students and this data should be stored on the database, so that whenever the lecturer enters this page, previous recorded attendance will be displayed. VIEW STUDENTS ATTENDANCE STATISTICS The second page should allow the lecturer to select a particular month and view the statistics of the attendance of that month. The statistic should simply show a line graph of the percentage of presence for every class (lecture, tutorial and practical) in a month. *more information in the attached file*
