You have to make script to import very large amount of products in woocommerce from a xml file. Server should not be loaded a lot when script is running, this script will be automatic or should able to schedule with crons. Let me know that how much you can do. More data, Heavy duty, Fast process but lightest to reduce load of server.

Wordpress/WooCommerce Expert at your service. I can create cron script to bulk upload products from xml. 1. I will create a table to store stats of cron job - last added product id. 2. Script to read xml file and add products to WooCommerce. Limit 30-50 products at a time.. depending upon media size(if any). 3. Cron job to run above script every 1 min.
