We are an online business finder. We are currently running the Wordpress theme "Business Finder" [login to view URL] Now currently when you view a business on our website the URL will display as [login to view URL] Now what I want is for it to say [login to view URL] Now after doing some research I came across a plug in called "Custom Post Type Permalinks" [login to view URL] & with some support from the theme developers I got it nearly working. This is what they said -------- Hi, you can use custom post type permalink to change the permalink. But I think you need to edit this plugin to have what you want. It can use this structure: /%ait-dir-item-category%/%ait-dir-item-location%/%postname%/in ait-dir-item structure, but the /item/ will be like you have now. I have no expernience with this plugin modification, so probably you will need to contact their support, but with this plugin you can have what you want. For me after adding the code above I got url like this: businessfinder/item/cafetea/herbalists/new-york/manhattan/sakura-herbs/the sacura-herbs is the item name, but the /item/ remains before category and location. ------ Now some of the links work fine others don't and I can't work out why not :( I have searched online and other people are trying to working this out who also use the theme.
