Hi, A friend of mine has been trying to help me add customer attributes to the registration form on my magento website. It did not really work so I (tried) to remove everything. Now if a new customer wants to register ([login to view URL]) they get a message that some "required" fields needs to be filled in, but all fields that are displayed are already filled in. If you know what the problem is, let me know in your application message. I need this to be solved asap. Thanks! ps. see attached image to see error during registration.

Its actually because the fields were removed from frontend but not at backend and required fields at backend needs to be removed.

Hi, With my 7 years of experience and I'm also a Magento Certified Developer, I can help you with this issue. I think when your friend tried to add customer attribute, he make that attribute is required in the system. Or his extension overwrite the registration controller but he called difference field name instead of default Magento's field names. If this is not the case, I still can troubleshoot further with system error and fix the problem for you. Hopefully he didn't edit the core files. Regards, Khanh Doan
