I need a wordpress plugin created that uses a php file in the plugins directory as a template page. The page would also be able to parse a query string passed to the page and echo out the variables that were passed. The plugin would have an option page that had only 1 option called "PAGE SLUG" The way it would work is that the user could set a SLUG name on the plugins option page that was saved in a database table and when that page slug page was called with a querystring from wordpress, it would load content from the page in the plugin directory and and show the query string. So for example if the wordpress blog was located at: "[login to view URL]" The Slug saved in the database was: "thisistheslug" AND Let us assume that the php file in the plugins directory as a template page had the following code in it: ----- START (file: in [login to view URL]) ------ <?php global $wpdb; $variable_a = $_GET['var1']; $variable_b = $_GET['var2']; $tableName=$wpdb->prefix . "thetable"; $SQL1 ="SELECT * FROM `$tableName` WHERE `ID`= $variable_a"; $itemRow = $wpdb->get_row($SQL1); ?> <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head></head> <body> This is a very basic page it only shows simple posted variables <?php echo "var a is:".$variable_a." and var b is:".$variable_a; ?> It also shows details from the database <?php echo "a database column:".$itemRow->title." another column variable is:".$itemRow- >description; ?> </body> </html> ----- END (file: in [login to view URL]) ------ If the URL passed to the Wordpress Frontend was "[login to view URL]$var2=thisisanotherpassedvar" Wordpress would show the following html to the user: ---- START HTML PASSED TO USER BROWSER ---- <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head></head> <body> This is a very basic page it only shows simple posted variables var a is:thisisthepassedvariable and var b is:thisisanotherpassedvar It also shows details from the database a database column:this was the title stored in the database column title another column variable is:this is the description </body> </html> ---- STOP HTML PASSED TO USER BROWSER ---- This is a very basic wordpress plugin and I would do it myself except for I am just too stretched out. I need it asap. So if you can do it in an hour from accepting the job then great! I am going to pick someone asap. As for the budget because this is pretty simple, please bid accordingly.
