Overview This project consists of 360 ° First Person View ( FPV ) on the surroundings so as to allow the pilot to keep track of any dangerous obstacles within the vicinity. This UAV also provides live feed back to the computer in a form of a radar plot which displays the longitude, latitude, flight speed, altitude, battery levels as well as remaining flight time. (The 360 °view of the selected UAV can also be displayed in a secondary display unit.) The Objective The objectives of this type of design is to provide UAV Air Picture as well as situational awareness so as to carry out seamless transition of missions from different modes of operations of the industry including commercial and military. Design Purpose As we progress to a new generation of mass UAV usage, this technology can allow the company’s UAV TRAFFIC CONTROLLER to manage and monitor all of their UAV’s so as to prevent from any mishap from happening including death of any bystanders. Brief Design Concept of Operations (CONOPS) When the UAV is being sent out for delivery or any other operations it directly feedbacks (live) to the radar plot BRIEF CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS 1. Controller deploys UAV 1 for Mission ( i.e. Delivery of items) 2. UAV 1 Set off for waypoint 1 3. Controller deploys UAV 2 for Mission ( i.e. Collection of items) 4. UAV 2 Set off for waypoint 2 5. UAV 1 & 2 provides live feedback to the radar in a form of radar plot 6. UAV 1 & 2 Feedbacks its location with each other so as to prevent collision.(Anti Collision system) To be elaborated .. 7. Upon selection by the UAV Traffic Controller it can display the 360 view of the surroundings of the selected UAV on a secondary display. 8. The UAV Traffic Controller can give commands to the UAV through voice recognition. (Manual Input) 9. Acknowledgement (Readback) by the UAV ( AI ) UAV 1 & 2 RTB ( Return to Base ) Via Waypoint
