A classified web site for auto mechanics. This site will allow users to find a mechanic for auto repair and smog check. High level project description is below: 1. The mechanic ad is initially posted by the site ADMIN. The ADMIN can post pictures and videos. Video is from youtube. 2. Business can claim the ad by paying for the ad. Once business becomes a paid customer, it can update the ad with more information, pictures, videos, coupons, mailing list. 3. Repair category database. This will be provided. we need to be able to edit this file and update it. 4. Auto/truck manufacturer model database. We need to have API to get car models. Manual update of this file is needed. 5. Business can update their business with areas of expertise. They need to pick the repair offering category from the repair category database. 6. If mechanic offers warranty, it will be displayed and it will be a search criteria. 7. Mechanic can be a shop or mobile. If mobile service is offered, it needs to be a search criteria. 8. Business can offer coupons and specials. Coupons and specials will be a search criteria. This ability is given to the ad if business pays and claims the ad. 9. Users rate and review the business with the type of repair and their car model and cost of repair. There will also be standard review questions from the user such as a. Quality of repair b. Quality of service establishment c. Customer service d. Warranty on repairs e. Overall satisfaction in the form of click the box. 10. Users can post pictures and videos when they review the business. A user needs to have an account when they review a business. 11. We need a ADMIN panel. ADMIN panel will provide edit access to all ads and reviews. ADMIN panel provides reports/statistics, ability for ADMIN to post advertisement under ADMIN account. 12. Quality of design and graphics are key to the project. 13. Full documentation of code is required. 14. Payment phases will be based on working functionality. 60% of project will be paid after completion of project and full testing of the functionality. This will be 30 days after complete functionality is done. Note: The project criteria is not final and will be updated. Support of your work after delivery for minimum of 6 months is required in case of bugs discovered.
