Hello, Interested in the job. I am a Software Engineer specializing in end-to-end Web Development with experience building custom tools for the GMail platform using Add-Ons and Chrome Extensions. Of the two possible approaches (that I know of) to this project (GMail Add-ons OR Chrome Extensions) a Chrome Extension strikes me as a better fit. GMail Add-Ons offer a somewhat silo-ed framework where the constrains of the platform limit its flexibility. Whereas Chrome Extensions are more open-ended but require more effort and time to build. There are a number of issues to work-around, but there are APIs native to the web (such as the clipboard API) that can be leveraged to build this tool. This won't be a quick turn-around, as there will be a fair amount of research and discovery involved. But I do believe that your project is feasible and I can deliver a viable product.
